my fisher and paykel 603 won't work agitate or spin properly?

was working fine until I took the cover off the electrical panel, and took things apart and put them back together. It is possible that water got in somewhere.

Is there any reset feature on these units?

hi there check out of balance microswitch for possibilty of switch being engaged causing failure to spin or aggatiate.

this switch is responsible for detecting out of balance loads in the washing machine, this is also a common fault in F & P Brand and also many others.

this switch being openly exposed to steam from hot water loads and moisture from the atmosphere corrudes the contact within the micro-switch causing failure and possible sticking causing the internal computer to detect an out of balance situation.
Making sure the machine is off ,The switch has two wires going to it and is located off the side (right by memory) of the enclosure when the lid is lifted off the top (not inside blue main pcb area).

also check connections going 2 the main controller board(blue box) one is responisble for delivering 3 sets of high direct current voltage to the motor.

its fun 2 pull ya machine apart, a prick 2 put back together dont forget your playing with mains voltage 240 volt plus adding to that inside is direct direct. be careful capicators store elctricity even when turned off.
goodluck :)
