interference when on call?

when on call crackling sound cant hear caller on oter end.bt freestyle 3200.

If you have ADSL broadband it may be interference from the modem. First thing is to check the filter is installed on the end of the cable then turn off the modem and check it again.
If the problem has gone away change the the filter for a higher quality one.
