one end of jumper wire is disconnected, should it be that way? My maytag washer will only fill to the correct water level. It will not wash, spin, drain................. ugh!!!

Maytag Dryer PYE/G2300?

Electric dryer is taking several cycles to dry a normal load. I have had the dryer exhaust vent cleaned out. Is there a heating element that might need replacing? And if so, how would you do this?

Washer runs but, will not drain. The problem sounds like it is electrical. Are there any solenoids on the machine or could the problem be the timer or motor? All other funtions seem to work.
